The author has the right to make copies of, distribute, perform, display, and modify their work.The author and/or owner is the only person allowed to do anything with their work .If a student needs to use a source for research at school they are allowed to use the information in their work as long as they reword it to make it their own .This is only allowed however, if they cite the source at the end of their project to give credit to the original author. This credit is given simply through a bibliography. However a bibliography is useful to show the reader that the information was not made up or copied from another author.
