Advanced Search
Advanced Search is a way to refine a search further within Google. It asks specific questions about the search that help narrow down the sometimes millions of searches. To access Advanced Search is quite easy, there is simply a button that one can click just to the right of Google Search. Once inside Advanced Search there is a series of questions to get more information about what the searcher wants to learn. Some of the questions gain information about file type, date of publication, and some just involve adding more to the search.
Copyright
The author has the right to make copies of, distribute, perform, display, and modify their work. The author and/or owner is the only person allowed to do anything with their work .If a student needs to use a source for research at school they are allowed to use the information in their work as long as they reword it to make it their own .This is only allowed however, if they cite the source at the end of their project to give credit to the original author. This credit is given simply through a bibliography. However a bibliography is useful to show the reader that the information was not made up or copied from another author.

Searching the Internet
There are many different types of search engines. They are alike in many simple ways. They all have a simple search bar to type in the initial search. They search a complete database with tons of information that is somewhat the same for each engine but varies a little. One engine is Bing, it is the newest program from Microsoft (formerly Windows Live Search) and is designed to help with a more defined search and more decisions to make the search more precise. Another engine is One more search engine is Altavista. This was one of the first search engines, it is not as popular anymore but it does have great multilingual search options. One last search engine is Lycos, this was also one of the first main search engines. Dogpile is one more search engine, except this engine actually combines the searches of Google, Yahoo!, Bing and Ask.com. Advanced Search is a way to refine a search further within Google. It asks specific questions about the search that help narrow down the sometimes millions of searches. Another Google branch is Google Scholar, this is a search that finds mostly educational literature written by those involved in education, including PhDs, graduates students, and professors.
